Further Information
These Saturday classes will be held at Manor Community Primary School, Keary Road, Swanscombe every Saturday during term times.
We are very lucky to be able to run our classes in the facilities that is on offer. Our ballet classes will be held in the dance studio - a lovely space with mirrors, sprung flooring and ballet barres for our older students.
Our street dance classes will be held in the main hall - a huge space with the benefit of a stage and lighting to allow the students to perform on a stage every week!
What To Expect
BALLET:
Ballet is the fundamental, core discipline of all dance styles. It teaches grace, discipline, flexibility and performance. Dancers will follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus with exams/class awards available in a 2 year window.
STREET DANCE:
Street Dance is the most powerful and high energy of all dance styles. Dancers will work with industry professionals who will have experience dancing for artists and on music videos. With street dance allowing the dancers to dance to current music, it is the most current and fun! Street dance is quickly becoming the most popular at EKB Performing Arts!
Dancers will also be able to take part in IDTA Street Dance exams along with working towards performing in competitions.
ACROBATIC GYMNASTICS:
Acrobatic gymnastics blends the elegance and technique of dance and is the perfect addition to your child's dance training.
We work on flexibility, strength, conditioning, gymnastics skills and fluidity. We provide a high quality acro pad to ensure full safety and execution of skills.
